IVFESA Mission:

Provide support and representation for Idaho’s volunteer emergency responders

The Idaho Volunteer Fire & Emergency Services Association was founded in 2006 to represent the approximately 5,400 volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians across Idaho.  Membership is comprised of volunteer emergency responders, chief officers of volunteer and combination departments and other individuals who support the volunteer fire and EMS service.

The Association’s goal is to offer education and training, legislative representation, benefits, and recruitment & retention assistance to the volunteer fire service.  In addition, IVFESA represents Idaho on the National Volunteer Fire Council board.

IVFESA is approaching its 6th year as an organization and is proud of the development and progression the Association has achieved so far.  Every year, IVFESA strives to find new ways to support its members and improve the volunteer fire & EMS service.
